CA – See CA Disaster Recovery Procedure.
WAYF – Redundant services. There is a WAYF on the Internet2 Ann Arbor network and a WAYF in a separate data center on the University of Michigan network. If the primary WAYF fails, the DNS entry pointing to it will be changed manually to point to the backup WAYF. The WAYF service will be backed up and can be restored if necessary.
Firewall – Redundant servers are used. If the first firewall fails, the network connection will be switched to the backup firewall.
Secure DB, Otis, Citrix, Services, Main web server, and Main mail server – These servers are backed up regularly and can be restored if necessary.
